On March 14, the “Shared protocol for regulating measures to combat and contain the spread of the Covid-19 virus in the workplace” was signed by the government, trade unions and companies, which protects the health and safety of workers from possible contagion from coronavirus.
Among the measures envisaged, Point 2 refers to the “Procedures for Entering the Company”.
In particular it reads:
- Before entering the workplace, staff may be subjected to body temperature checks1. If this temperature is higher than 37.5 °, access to the workplace will not be allowed. Persons in this condition – in compliance with the indications given in the note – will be temporarily isolated and provided with masks should not go to the emergency room and / or the infirmaries of the office, but must contact their doctor as soon as possible and follow the its indications
- The employer informs in advance the staff, and those who intend to enter the company, of the foreclosure of access to those who, in the last 14 days, have had contact with subjects who tested positive for COVID-19 or come from areas at risk according to the indications WHO2
